Southolme Cottage is situated in the hamlet of Thornton. It is detached, lies down a secluded lane, & is surrounded by its own cottage gardens. There are grazing meadiows to the front & rear, & a tiny church adjoining the grounds.

The interior with its open fires & quarry tiled floors has been recently decorated using beautiful ochre washes, & furnished with carefully chosen old pieces that add to the warmth & mellowness of the house itself.

The cottage sleeps five. There is a double bedroom with handbasin, one single, & one twin room (with two single beds). All beds, however ancient the head & foot have new mattresses & embroidered linens. Sheets, duvets & towels are provided free of charge.
